the reason why you can’t rate the songs is that they’re not in your hard drive.you need to burn or copy the songs into your computer to rate them.

You don’t eject memory cards like you eject a CD, you simply pull them out. Some, such a SD cards, usually have to be pushed in a little, to release them, then pull it out.

Obviously, you need to make sure there is no activity when you pull it out. If it is being read or written to when you pull it out, it will ‘freak out’.

If it’s your pc and you dont remember changing anything then that’s odd, but you could try right clicking on the taskbar at the bottom of the screen and clicking taskmanager or try this:

* Click Start
* Click Run
* Enter gpedit.msc in the Open box and click OK
* In the Group Policy settings window
o Select User Configuration
o Select Administrative Templates
o Select System
o Select Ctrl+Alt+Delete options
o Select Remove Task Manager
o Double-click the Remove Task Manager option

you might be able to use malwarebytes to scan and find out the location of the trojan and then remove it manually.

I ran PC Recovery on my HP Laptop, it said it was successful but all the files (music, pics, etc) are still on the drive. They are not accessable apart from with Data recovery software. How do I delete them without totally re formatting my Hard drive and losing windows. I also don’t have an XP disc to re-install windows if I did have to format the drive. HELP!!!!

Norton has worked well for me on 3 different systems, all running Vista home premium. I installed that one best buy was pushing so har don a system running vista ultimate 64 bit, and did not like it, but it might have just been the 64 bit version.

after finally searching it and finding out, I was able to download malwarebytes and completely remove all of it and found ways to restore all my short cuts, the only thing now is that my Ipod won’t show up in Itunes, it worked before and I’ve uninstalled/installed itunes, turned off and on my ipod and tried different cables,

I’m positive its something to do with that virus but I’m not sure what, it says its connected on the actual Ipod but doesn’t show up in the Itunes sidebar or anything!

Please help!!

It is possible (as long as you have the serial) to load it on your new machine, because (I think) you are allowed to use it on up to 3 machines.

I could be wrong, but if you’r scrapping your old PC then its worth a try.

yes it should be compatible, i used to run it on a vista OS for several years,
but do be careful cause from what i remember sims 2 used up a lot of RAM and hard drive. which resulted in my vista running even slower than ever :/
