I’m doing a discursive essay on social networking.
One of my against points is that social networking can be brain damaging and it’s rewiring the brain.
My teacher said I need to kind of expand on that and that it should be investigated by scientist.
I was wondering if anyone could find any articles ?

Your teacher is correct – you cannot really make assertions such as this without proper evidence. If you are unable to find any research to support your view you will need to rethink it.

Okay, the Internet doesn’t need any more social networking sites. And two, you would need years of experience and hours of spare time to do it not to mention website hosting fees, etc, etc. Why not use Facebook, myspace, friendster, digg, porkd, foursquare, faceparty, or one of the other thousand of netyworking sites.

your question is a bit vague but it seems to me you are asking some one to create you a user account on octopuss then give it to you. the alternate would you want some one to send you a crack to unlock a pay site. i doubt you’ll get either here since this is neither a charity site or a bootleg software site.

Does the Xbox 360 wireless networking adapter have good connection, or is it bad. I am currently using a ethernet cord from the xbox to my modem then to a router, and the connection is bad, so how good is the Xbox 360 wireless networking adapter?

It would depend on the distance from the router and what lies between.
My son has wired and wireless upstairs directly above the router and connected directly to it he tried both and the wired was a little better he said but it may be a little better for you though.

Advantages:
* Share hardware such as printers e.g. 12 computers in a room, instead of 12 printers for each computer, just one is needed
* Share software and opearting system (Multi-user licence)

Different methods of networks are:
Ring:
A local-area network (LAN) whose topology is a ring. That is, all of the nodes are connected in a closed loop. Messages travel around the ring, with each node reading those messages addressed to it. One of the advantages of ring networks is that they can span larger distances than other types of networks, such as bus networks, because each node regenerates messages as they pass through it.

Star:
A local-area network (LAN) that uses a star topology in which all nodes are connected to a central computer. The main advantages of a star network is that one malfunctioning node doesn’t affect the rest of the network, and it’s easy to add and remove nodes. The main disadvantage of star networks is that they require more cabling than other topologies, such as a bus or ring networks. In addition, if the central computer fails, the entire network becomes unusable.

Bus:
A network in which all nodes are connected to a single wire (the bus) that has two endpoints. Ethernet 10Base-2 and 10Base-5 networks, for example, are bus networks. Other common network types include star networks and ring networks. ]

Mesh:
Also called mesh topology or a mesh network, mesh is a network topology in which devices are connected with many redundant interconnections between network nodes. In a true mesh topology every node has a connection to every other node in the network.

There are two types of mesh topologies: full mesh and partial mesh.

Full mesh topology occurs when every node has a circuit connecting it to every other node in a network. Full mesh is very expensive to implement but yields the greatest amount of redundancy, so in the event that one of those nodes fails, network traffic can be directed to any of the other nodes. Full mesh is usually reserved for backbone networks.

Partial mesh topology is less expensive to implement and yields less redundancy than full mesh topology. With partial mesh, some nodes are organized in a full mesh scheme but others are only connected to one or two in the network. Partial mesh topology is commonly found in peripheral networks connected to a full meshed backbone.

Hey dont care too much what people have to say about u. Sit down get a clear idea of the person u want to be and each and everyday in interactions with people make an effort to be the person u want to be.
Dont worry about rejections or being perfect. Everybody is a little imperfect. So what if u mess up sometimes, laugh at urself and get over it. Just never give up on making an effort to do better.

These social networking sites freak me out a bit. Only a couple of weeks ago, there were a couple of schoolgirls on This Morning telling of how they were duped by some 55 year old guy into thinking he was their age, and turned up on their school trip to a museum to make contact with them. God only knows what would have happened if they didn’t realise who he was and told a teacher.

I think you have to be very careful about who you allow to view your profile, etc. and it is very difficult to tell who is genuine and who is not. Parents especially should be aware of any sites of this kind which their children go to.
