Question by chris t: Can I use my GPS connection via my Pocket PC to get to the Internet?
I have an HP IPAQ rx5915 travel companion and it would seem entirely possible to get an internet connection based on the GPS built in to the Pocket PC. I’m looking for more flexibility then the Wireless G card already built-in to the device, maybe some software to purchase etc.? Thanks

Another notebook using the splitter doesnt have this problem. I’m on a secured connection of my institution where I have to apply for an IP address. I can use the connection (using splitter) for few days, but now I cant. My notebook showed that it’s connected but I cant get through.

ask the network administrator for your institution…
but before try using the troubleshoot settings that come in windows…
and also try disconnecting both computers fully up to the wall or source of the connection…
