Is it still worth it to buy Intel’s Core i7 980x for $800-1000 dollars or will you buy a Phenom II x6 1090t for $300. Note that it only supports dual channel memory to maintain it’s backwards compatibility with the older AM2+ generation. Also, I am not taking advice. Just asking your opinion.
