Now in its 16th year, Berlin & Beyond has featured more than 500 films from Germany, Austria and Switzerland to over 110,000 American filmgoers. Held at the Castro Theatre in San Francisco, Berlin & Beyond offers American audiences a unique glimpse into the history, progression and innovation of the latest films from German-speaking countries.

Berlin & Beyond enlisted MetaDesign to develop a new brand identity to further engage and attract filmgoers to the 2011 Berlin & Beyond Film Festival.

The concept of the new brand design highlights the curating and gathering of films; the yellow and black colors reflect spirit and creativity. The new identity provided the foundation for all aspects of Berlin & Beyond Film Festival communication and was executed across different touchpoints.
