the grafix card is ok
ram is ok
price seems ok
the only problems you might have is with vista
if you have an xp disc i advise you install it straight away
xp will vastly improve every aspect of the computer
google vista problems and you will see what i mean

I think it’s ok for gaming.Like the other answerer said use xp not vista because vista it’s full of buggs and annoying things even if it looks cool. But do not make the mistake to not buy it only because of vista.it’s an ok operating system , but xp is better.
Intel Core 2 Duo T6400 processor.
2.0GHz processor speed.
2MB cache.
4GB DDR2 RAM.
16in full HD Acer CineCrystal widescreen.
Resolution 1366 x 768 pixels.
250GB SATA hard drive capacity.
Multiformat dual layer optical drive.
nVidia GeForce 9600M GT graphics card.
1GB graphics memory.
are ok for gaming purposes …… basically processor of 2.0 and above are meant to play games and ya u r having 4gb of RAM so keep VISTA as it is and must install 64-bit XP on other partition( a trouble free installation – an option 2 choose from 2 windows will be shown). But as WINDOWS VISTA supports Directx10 ,graphics will run much better on VISTA but performance will be shown on 64-bit XP(supports directx9). REST in the laptop doesn’t matter if the budget is limited especially for gaming purpose
