I started when I was 6, but went hardcore on it when I was 10
I used to play Putt-Putt Saves the Zoo when I was like, four. LOL I love that game.

I was probley around the same age. But i bet i didnt really know what i was doing lol
I was like 7 or 8 and I used this type-only computer to type a letter to my friend. It took me like half an hour to type a paragraph and I was like “Wow, I typed a lot!” lol
edit: No wait I was 5 and I was in Kindergarten and I had to play this educational video game
1985 commodore 64.
What kind of computers? The first game I ever played was Super Mario on Nintendo.
at around 14… in Iraq.
since i was really young, like 3.
i used a commodore 64 when i was 4 or 5 years old.
I was in my early teens, but this was the early 1980s when computers were pretty rare, and the ones that were around didn’t actually do that much yet.
when i was 6 1/2 i was really fascinated with computer and learn it very early

i was born in 1986 and remember using a computer when i was in nursery aged 4!!!
wow! i can’t remember, but i think i was in 5th grade or so. my family had computers before most families did.
i can remember the first one i used was the vic 20. this was around the time of the “atari” days (todays version of xbox or nintendo). the atari was really lame.
good question by the way.
Maybe 5 or 6.
I can’t remember how old I was. But my grade school got them when I was in the fourth grade. We played the organ trail game. Does anybody else remember that game?
I was 7. Geez, that was back in ’94 I think. Wow…
I looked at porn too.
probably 6 or 7. 1st grade
6 or 7….that was 1981…. we had one of the first Apples… with that terrrible green monitor….but very progressive at the time!!!

I don’t know about me but my second son is only 3 and has been using one since he turned 2.
18 – and since my dad was/is a tekkie, it was one of the first on the market! (yes, i’m VERY old!).
when i was in the first grade and i was about 6 years old.
About 21 back in the the early 80s,Commodore 64K
I think I first used one in Kindergarten in 1993. I remember it had these crappy learning games on it.
6.
When I first starting using computers,
I was taking my first communion classes,
so I’m guessing I was 9 or 10 years old.
My mom won a computer before that.
I was probably 5 or so,
but I had no idea how to use it
and I was never allowed to use it.
It was used by my parents and sister.
I’m 14 now.
And I’m addicted to my laptop.
8… But it was just typing and stuff.
No internet for me then.
4. (:

But then – it depends what you define as a “computer”. The “PC” as we know it today, was NOT around in 1975. What I used WAS a computer but it looked nothing like what you know. There are NO screen (monitor) and I had to program it myself using a type of punch card.
The first computer I ever owned was the Commodore 64 and the TV was the “moniotr”
Cheese to you from Australia
I think I was 2 or 3, lol I remember playing Seseme Street and Barney and Barbie and Madeline Games on it for hOURS! lol
good times, Good times.
(and I’m 14 now.)
I didn’t use a computer until I entered college at the age of 44 years old. I wasn’t privileged enough to own a computer but I am on my 3rd computer and love it. I am self-taught and now 60 and have become computer literate! I have had a cell phone for just a little over a year. Well you CAN teach and old dog new tricks!
24. And I’m 61 now. It was an IBM mainframe and we fed data in with punch cards !
Probably about 6 or 7
idr but i remember using kidpix.
You all make me feel really old. I have to guess and say maybe in my early thirties? Somewhere in that age frame. I was taught how to use the keyboard but I don’t know the kind of computer it was. This was back in the early 90′s probably 1990. We used programs called DOS? Like I said, it was a really long time ago. I am still learning and loving it!

I think I was about 20 and it was at uni. It was an IBM 1620 with a massive 2k (sic!) memory and a removable hard disk of about 12 inches in diameter and four layers deep!. Mind you that was about 40 years ago!
between the ages of 10-12
