Question by Haley2vote: Challenge question for builders! I need a html code!! Please read all the question it’s not a standard?
embedded code to play win media files i have already uploaded. I asked this previously and it was not understood. I am looking for a code to place on a page that if while on that page I opened my windows media player on my pc to play a file off my pc (note again any winmedia file not a specific one) it would open on this page and play rather than opening just as the regular player on my pc.
Here is the original question I posted if anyone can help I would appreciate it.
Does anyone have a webcode that would open win media player on a web page. I am not talking about uploadiing?
a wma or a flash file to a page. Rather the actual winmedia from the pc. Maybe even using an i-frame? To make it more clear of what I am wanting to do here is an exmple. If I have the web page open and then I open wmplayer, I would like it to play on that webpage. Does anyone know of a code for this? I want it to open on that page or in i-frame. Any help is appreciated ….. thanks

Question by Rob: Gaming Build under 0 Please Help!
Hello, thanks for viewing my question. I am working on getting money to build a gaming PC for around $ 700.00 USD. I have been looking and looking everywhere. I have what I feel to be a “good’ low-budget build. I want some experienced builders to speak their minds to help me with the last little steps. Below are the parts I intend on using to create my PC.
CPU: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.as…
Motherboard: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.as…
Graphics Card: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.as…
Hard Drive: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.as…
Fan/Heatsink: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.as…

PSU: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.as…
DVD/CD-ROM: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.as…

Thanks very much for your support, please be descriptive I would like as much honest feedback as possible. Some of the parts were combo packs and such and the total after mail and rebate totaled out to around $ 650.00 USD. Please don’t try to suggest anything more then $ 10.00 USD more I am at max budget! Thanks for your patience and dedication.
Questions:
1. Can you have 4 gb’s of RAM with XP?
2. Is my RAM better then 3gb of some ddr2 sdram 800?
3. Is my fan/heatsink compatible and strong enough for my CPU/etc?

If you plan on keeping this same computer for some time and have enough tech experience, go for the OEM disc.
A full, blank hard drive install is usually more stable that an upgrade in my experience.
Keep in mind that OEM discs can only ever be installed on 1 computer. The license is absolutely non-transferable. If you ever upgrade to a new PC, you will be buying Windows again.
Also, tech support for OEM disc is up to the installer (that would be you). Microsoft charges to talk to a human using OEM keys.
Full retail copies can be transferred and come with free tech support. This is part of the reason why they cost more.

If you are talking about getting the files off of a flash drive or other memory card, then you could make an image of it using programs like Alcohol 120% or WinRAR. These programs will make an image that can later extract the files without making a bajillion files on your computer.
Hope this helps

As a female who wants 2 lose weight as well as build muscle are the meal plans the b/builders use appropriate?

Question by hrjones86: As a female who wants 2 lose weight as well as build muscle are the meal plans the b/builders use appropriate?
When I research meal plans the body builders go by, it is always very high protein, small regular meals etc…is this appropriate to both lose weight AND build muscle?? Or should I lose the weight before I follow a meal plan to that degree??
I was thinking:
Pre-workout: Banana
Post Workout/Breakfast: Whey Protein shake, pce w/grain toast, pc fruit
Mid Morn: Egg whites+tomato+cottage cheese
Lunch: Chicken+green salad
Mid A/Noon: Fruit+f/f yog
Dinner: Meat+veges+brown rice
Can anyone with some knowledge of nutrition etc recommend any changes???

Yes that sounds fine. Body builders get a bad rep because all people think they are eating is raw egg shakes and such. They are actually very healthy people and are building muscle while doing it. You wouldnt need to drink all of they whey protein they drink, but a little would be fine – just remember whey protein is high in calories so be mindful of that.
Your meal plan looks great! I would eat a little more for breakfast, like oatmeal with fruit, because it helps my workout when I do endurance type exercises. But other than that, it looks yummy and you will see results!

Windows Vista OEM edition?
Posted by postmaster in - Computer Repair Answers on August 4, 2010
Question by george h: Windows Vista OEM edition?
My friend is building a PC and he is one of those people who likes to reset to factory settings all the time. He can get the OEM version for much cheaper, 60 quid instead of much more. It says for system builders only (whatever that means) and can only be on one PC. Does that mean that if he system restored he wouldn’t be able to use it again.
Also, if his hard drive broke, would he be able to reinstall it on the new hard drive?
Thanks!!

Answer by Stephan
With the OEM version of Vista it can only be installed once, meaning if you format you need a new copy. where as the normal version you can install it a few times.
