Question by Craig M: Computer power supply upgrade?
I want to upgrade my computers graphics card but my computer doesn’t have enough juice to power the new card I am wanting, how do I know which power supply to buy?
I don’t know all the names for all the connectors so I might buy one that doesn’t have the correct connector for one of my computers components.

Make sure that your computer isn’t that old because when mine was and I was trying to upgrade my dell, the Power supply didn’t fit in. Make sure you check the graphics card first and check the minimum watts it runs on. Get at least a power supply unit that is about 150 watts or 200 watts more then that because you may have to power the other units inside your computer.

Get a 20+4 pin PSU with at least 3 molex & 2 SATA, you’ll probably want pci-e cables too for your new card. Most systems will be fine with 500W, you only need to get more if you are running 2 graphics cards.
Depends on how many video cards you plan to use. If you only want to use one, like a Radeon HD 4870 or a GeForce GTX 260, then this one will be fine:
